Thomas L LaGuardia

Thomas L. LaGuardia, age 97, passed away April 7, 2026. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Callahan) for 64 years. Dear father of Gary and Greg. Cherished grandfather of Emma and Bryan. Brother of Joe and Connie (both deceased).

Thomas was dedicated to serving both his country and his community. As a Korean Conflict Army veteran, he demonstrated courage and commitment. His lifelong career as a teacher in the Parma School district reflected his passion for education, and he further contributed as past president of the Parma Education Association.

Thomas graduated from Kent State University in 1958, where he was actively involved in campus life and served as president of the local fraternity Collegiates. Continuing his pursuit of academic excellence, he earned a Master's degree from Baldwin Wallace University.

Friends may call at the Donald A. Faulhaber Funeral Home, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague Road) where a  memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 18 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm.
