Srbijanka Rasic

Srbijanka Rasic, born June 5, 1944, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026. She was born in the beautiful village of Kamendol, near Grocka in Serbia and emigrated to the United States in 1969. Retiring in 2006, Baba worked on the assembly line for Ford Motor Company for 30 years. She was an ultimate tennis fan that never failed to miss a Djokovic match and even asked about the next game while being hospitalized. If you knew Baba, you knew she was scratching her lottery ticket at the kitchen table or secretly asking to be driven to the casino on a random weekday.

She is survived by her daughters Vesna Baric (Ivica) and Jasmina Naumovski (Ico-deceased). Cherished Baba to Natasha Naumovski (Dan), Kristina Baric (Adrian), Tomislav Baric, Alexsandra Naumovski (Brad) and Daniel Naumovski. Beloved Tetka or Biba to Zivoslavka Pesikan and Zivoslav Krstic (Slavica).

Baba’s loving heart and spirit will live on forever through her friends and family. She will be missed every day, and her memory will be eternal.

Visitation will be held at the DONALD A. FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague) on Monday, March 23 from 11:00 am until 12 noon. A prayer service will be held at 12 noon followed by a funeral service at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 2151 W. Wallings Road at 12:15 PM. V. Rev. Mijoljub Matic officiating.
