Sandra Hudack

Sandra Hudack (nee Sawulski), age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, August 27, 2021. Beloved wife of Gerald R. Hudack for 64 years. Loving mother of Scott Hudack and Randy Hudack (Lori). Cherished grandmother of Sarah Kinsey (Donnie) and Joey Hudack. Beloved daughter of Joseph and Lillian Sawulski (both deceased). Sandy was born in Cleveland and moved to Broadview Hts in 1966. Sandy started roller skating at age 13 where she met her “husband to be” They became roller-skating dance partners and in 1955 won State Championship in Pair-Dance Roller-skating. Sandy loved to travel extensively and enjoyed many wonderful times at different Islands and different States. She worked for the City of Broadview Heights for over 30 years in different capacities: Secretary to Mayor Deffler, Council at Large, Council President, Council Secretary, and Clerk of Council. In lieu of flower, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (https://www.stjude.org). FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE DONALD A. FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague) where a prayer service will be held on Wednesday, September 1 at 9:30 AM followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 AM at St. Matthias Church, 1200 W. Sprague Road at 10 AM. VISITING HOURS AT THE FUNERAL HOME TUESDAY, August 31st FROM 4-8 PM. The family has chosen cremation with inurnment  to be determined at a future date.
