Milos Jevtic - January 19, 1946 – March 18, 2026

Milos Jevtic, 80, of Hopedale, Ohio, passed away suddenly at his home on March 18, 2026.

Born on January 19, 1946, in Ljubovija, Serbia, Milos was the youngest of six children born to Bogosav and Novka Jevtic. He grew up with his siblings: brothers Jovo, Milija, and Ljubo, and sisters Jula and Olga. He is survived by his sister Jula; his other siblings predeceased him.

Milos completed his architectural studies in Užice, Serbia. He married Milenka Jevtic in 1971 in Serbia. The couple immigrated to the United States in 1975, where they built a new life together before later divorcing. Milenka survives him.

In the U.S., Milos initially worked in factories for about 10 years to support his family. He then turned to entrepreneurship, acquiring properties and eventually purchasing a farm in Ohio, where he could embrace the rural life he loved.

A passionate and active man in his youth, Milos enjoyed playing soccer. He was also a man of fashion and would never wear the same things twice.

Throughout his life and as he got older, he found deep fulfillment in gardening, caring for his animals, sharing a beer and cigar with friends, and exchanging good laughs and stories. His warm, generous spirit and sense of humor touched everyone around him.

Milos is survived by his loving daughter, Natasa Jevtic; his son, Boban Jevtic, and daughter-in-law, Jessica; his sister, Jula; his former wife, Milenka Jevtic; and many extended family members and friends who cherished his company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bogosav and Novka Jevtic; his brothers Jovo, Milija, and Ljubo; and his sister Olga.

Milos was a one-of-a-kind individual, and everyone he ever met carried away a lasting impression of his kindness, humor, and genuine heart. He will be fondly remembered as a hardworking man who valued family, friendship, hard work, and the simple pleasures of life. His sudden passing is a great loss, but the memories he created—of shared laughter, tending the garden, and caring for his animals—will live on forever.

Visitation will be held at the DONALD A. FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague) on Thursday, March 26 from 10:00 am until 12 noon.
