Milja Radovic

Milja Radović (née Radišić), age 98, of Broadview Heights, Ohio, and formerly of Sodolovci, Slavonia, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2025. A loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and dear friend to many, Milja lived a life marked by kindness, joy, and unwavering faith.

Beloved wife of the late Stevan Radović; dearest mother of Ljubinka Radovic (deceased), Andjelka Kraguljac (husband Simo), Pero Radović (wife Sretenka), and Milosav Radović (wife Dušica).

Treasured grandmother of Petar Kraguljac (wife Latinka), Stevan Kraguljac (wife Svetlana), Zoran Radović (deceased), Tania Radović-Smith (husband James), Aleksandra Bojadžić (husband Dimitri), and Mihaela Živković (husband Želimir).

Proud great-grandmother of Nikola, Simo, Stevan, Sophia, Luke, Melanija, Selena, Andrej, Ana, Filip, and Oliver.

Milja remained mentally sharp and remarkably knowledgeable even at the age of 98. Despite facing many hardships in her early life, including enduring the trials of World War II and later surviving the Serbian-Croatian war as a refugee, she lived with great resilience and strength. Milja worked tirelessly on her farm in Serbia, raising her family with love and dedication.

In 2005, she courageously embraced a new chapter, immigrating to the United States where she built a new life, adapting with grace and determination.

Her life stands as a testament to faith, perseverance, and remarkable strength. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege to know her.

All services will be held on Monday, June 2 at 12 noon at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 2151 W. Wallings Road. V. Rev. Mijoljub Matic officiating. Interment St. Sava Cemetery. Please meet at church.
