Mark J Holland

Mark Holland passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2025. He was born on November 29, 1970, in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was a devoted husband to Amber Holland and loving father to Mia Cartagena (Tyler), Michaela Cartagena (Aidan), Melani Cartagena (Donald), and Hailey Holland. Mark was the son of Angie Starcovic and the late Robert Holland, and a cherished son-in-law to Robert and Linda Mihalek. He is also survived by his sister, Catherine Holland; nieces Caitlyn Knight and Jocelyn Torres (Josue Torres); and great-niece and nephew, Mateo and Paloma Torres.

Mark dedicated 33 years to being a truck driver—earning the reputation as a true legend in the industry. Before trucking, he worked as a welder. He was admired by many and had a gift for making friends wherever he went. Mark enjoyed riding his Harley every chance he got and was devoted to his family, especially his daughters. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Mark’s spirit will live on, one mile at a time.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Donald A. Faulhaber Funeral Home, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague) on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm.
