Marge Jindra (nee Marko), age 87, passed away March 8, 2020, after a 15+ year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Jindra, and loving mother of Annette Phelps (James), Jeanette Stanowick (Dan), Mark Jindra (Tammy), Paulette Glaser (William), Leonard Jindra (Cheryl), Kenneth Jindra (Debbie), David Jindra (Jennifer), and Margarette Vinyard (Brian). Marge has 24 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was the middle daughter of Anna and Mike Marko (both deceased); her sisters are Elinor Boehnlein (Phil) (deceased) and Marlene Lang (Art). In her younger days, Marge was a gifted seamstress, a skill she learned at Jane Addams High School. She made everything from wedding gowns to winter coats to quilts. She was also a talented crafter and, along with her husband, made handmade gifts for all her children and grandchildren. This lovely, classy lady loved to laugh, sing, and tell you about her children. She was a long-time resident of Mount Alverna Village in Parma and will be missed by many.
The family will receive visitors at ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA CHURCH, 6750 STATE ROAD, PARMA, 44134, from 10:45-11:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon at ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA CHURCH.
