Judith R O'Brien

Judith R. O'Brien (nee Soos), age 86, died on March 10, 2026. Born on July 15, 1939 to Elizabeth and Steven Soos (both deceased), Judy was the beloved wife of William (deceased); mother of John (deceased) and Erin (Eric); sister of Carol, and former mother-in-law to Lisa, her dear friend and advocate. Judy's granddaughter Jessie was her sun and moon.

A superlative hostess, Judy's retirement in the early aughts from a long career in building management left her with more time to pursue the culinary arts and handcrafts she loved. She created the most beautiful quilts in all the land before a late-in-life romance with her sweet Jerry (deceased) swept her off her feet.

The family will receive visitors from 2–4 p.m. on Sunday, March 29 at Faulhaber Funeral Home, 7915 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights, OH 44147.
