Erin Zakhary

Erin Zakhary, 55, passed away peacefully on 9/29/26 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Born on October 31st 1970 in Sohag, Egypt, Erin lived a life marked by devotion to her family and faith in God. She graduated from Tanta University with a Bachelor in Accounting. Upon relocating to the US, she focused on her children and caring for the household.

Erin was known for her deep connections. Aside from her husband and children, she held strong bonds for her brothers and sisters who were overseas. For her, happiness was not complete until she shares it with her family. She reminded us to cherish and celebrate life’s milestones. Whether it was a birthday, a graduation, or any special occasion, she believed every moment was worth celebrating. And no celebration was complete without her favorite—strawberry ice cream, which she loved so much. She will be remembered for her comfort, love and devotion.

Erin is survived by her husband Ibrahim, and her children Paul and Abanoub.

Services will be held at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, 2100 E. Pleasant Valley Road, Seven Hills on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 12:30 pm.

Interment Riverside Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, if desired.

Erin will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
