Elen Gadelsayed, passed away at the age of 67, on July 7, 2026. She was born on November 25, 1958 in Cairo, Egypt and carried the traditions, strength, and warmth of her Egyptian heritage throughout her life. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother whose kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith were the foundation of her family.

As a wife, she was a faithful partner who filled her home with love and care. As a mother, she nurtured her children with endless patience, encouragement, and unconditional love, always placing their well-being above her own. As a grandmother, she found immense joy and delighted in every moment spent sharing laughter, family traditions, and the values she held dear.

She was known for managing the family business and did it with her generous heart, welcoming spirit, and the comfort she brought to everyone who met her. Whether preparing treasured Egyptian family recipes, spending summers at Cedar Point, or walking to the park with her husband to watch soccer, she created lasting memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is lovingly survived by her husband Gad Gadelsayed, her children Rami (Tana), Barbara, and Paul (Sheri), her grandchildren, Luca Gadelsayed, and Mia and Cole Scanlon, extended family, and many dear friends who will forever remember her love, strength, and spirit.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the lives she touched. May God grant her eternal peace and surround those who mourn her with comfort and strength.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.

Services will be held at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, 2100 E. Pleasant Valley Road, Seven Hills on Friday, July 10 at 11:00 am.
