Steven E. Gabor, age 81, passed away October 17, 2011. Husband of Dorothy “Dorie”
(nee Roller) for 57 years. Father of Matthew J. and David M. Gabor. Retiree of Ridge
Tool Company, Proud member of the US Marines, Korean War Veteran, member of the
North-South Skirmish Association, 4th Kentucky Calvary C.S.A, The Marine Corps
League Gung Ho Detachment #650, American Legion Post #703, the Fire Team, and 50-
year Mason. Steve was a Boy Scout leader, receiving the Silver Beaver Award. He
enjoyed constructing authentic Civil War boots for his teammates, loved his pets Maya
and Spider and was most happy and content when at home. Family suggests contributions to Homeless Vets (DomVet), C/R Wade Park Veterans Hospital, 10701 East Blvd., Attention: 135-W, Cleveland 44106 or to charity of choice.
